Gurprasad Green is a veteran communications professional with a range of expertise.
She worked in Ottawa and Toronto for over a decade as a producer, reporter, news writer, news reader, and editor for some of Canada’s top media, including CBC (Ottawa Morning, All in A Day, Ontario Today, The Arts Report, CBC Newsworld, Hockey Night in Canada, On the Road Again, Hockeyville) and Global (Global National, Global News Online). After a stint in British Columbia’s Kootenay region writing the novel of the century (manuscript still safely tucked away in a drawer), she has spent the past 10 years with a range of private, government, and not-for-profit organizations in media relations, marketing, social media, project management, training, branding, writing, and editing.
As a media relations specialist with Aragona, Gurprasad leverages her writing talent and media savvy to put Aragona’s clients in the spotlight.
Gurprasad graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Journalism, Honours, and a minor in Film Studies.
She is fluent in English and French, has a working proficiency in Spanish, and is learning Portuguese (and can still remember a few key phrases in Czech!).
